Peltier Cell Integration in Packaging Design for Minimizing Energy Consumption and Temperature Variation during Refrigerated Transport

This study proposes an innovative approach to reduce temperature fluctuations in refrigerated transport during loading and unloading, aiming minimize food waste optimize energy consumption the supply chain. The solution involves integrating Peltier cells into secondary tertiary packaging improve system efficiency variations. Four distinct tests were conducted: a reference test, continuous operation, two intermittent cooling for hot side of cells. results highlight effectiveness this approach, particularly fourth test where average final decreased from 3.2 °C (reference test) 2.8 °C.
